David Laurent, age 48, of Green Bay, formerly of Kewaunee died on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee. He was born July 7, 1964 in Kewaunee to the former Joan (Toots) Szydelo and Willard Laurent.

He graduated from Kewaunee High School in 1983. He married Erika Hermann July 7, 2000.

He was presently working as a Premises Technician for A.T.& T. David was a bartender in the Kewaunee area for a number of years where he made and enjoyed many friends. He was a former member of the Kewaunee Fire Department and Kewaunee Lions Club. He loved to cook and had a large collection of cook books.

Survivors include his wife: Erika of Green Bay; two daughters: Emily, age 8 and Katie, age 6 at home; his mother: Joan (Toots) Laurent, Kewaunee; one brother: Dennis Laurent; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Vickie and Robert Allshouse and Shari and Dave Konop all of Kewaunee, his father-in-law and mother-in-law: Tom and Deb Hermann, Kansas City, MO; one sister-in-law: Elizabeth Hermann, Kansas City, MO; a brother-in-law: John Hermann, Ft. Hood, TX; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father: Willard Laurent.

Friends may call after 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 10 at Buchanan Funeral Home, Kewaunee until the time of services. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. with Dcn. Robert Pribek officiating.
