Hunt, Marie T.

Marie T. Hunt, 92, longtime resident of Green Bay and currently of De Pere, died Friday, May 3, 2013. She was born December 30, 1920, in Langlade County, WI to Joseph and Anna (Husnick) Frisch.

On May 16, 1946, she married Stanley Hunt in Waukegan, IL. He preceded her in death on July 19, 1990. Marie worked with her brother at St. Agnes Bakery. She had been a member of St. Agnes Parish. Most important to Marie was her family, her children, her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren.

She is survived by three children, Patricia "Patty" (Steve King) Wagnitz, Waukegan, IL; Linda (Dave) Olson, De Pere; Jim (Vickie) Hunt, Abrams; 14 grandchildren and their spouses, Tammy (Russ) Martie, Cindy (Mike) Meisch, Tom (Lisa) Wagnitz, Shannon (Jason) Stearns, Tony (Kristine) Wagnitz, Nicole (Mark) Ely, Erik (Mary) Olson, Kaitlin Olson, Sara Kennedy, Angie (Tom) VanLanen, Dan (Joell) Olson, Lynne (Rick) Meyer, Scott (Marcie) Olson, Mike Olson; 19 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by two sisters, Cecilia Ourada and Mildred Zimmerman; three sisters-in-law, Pat, Lorraine and Marilyn Frisch.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley; a son-in-law, Tom Wagnitz; and five brothers, Maynard, Norman, Roy, Floyd and Donald Frisch.

Friends may call at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1484 Ninth St., from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church with Rev. Patrick Beno officiating. Burial will be in Fort Howard Memorial Park.

The Hunt family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the staffs of St. Vincent Hospital 7th floor and Unity Hospice for their care of Marie. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established to benefit Unity Hospice.
