Nancy L. (Winter) Gierczak, 60, Green Bay, passed away on Saturday May 11, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on August 28, 1952 to Delores and Eugene Winter. On June 12, 1976, Nancy was united in marriage to Allan Gierczak. Nancy was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church. She was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother whose children and grandchildren were the joy of her life. Nancy enjoyed spending time with her family and times at the cabin "up North".
Nancy will be sadly missed by her husband of 37 years, Allan; her children, Heather (Todd) Van Ess, Crystal(John) Natzke, Craig (Chelsea) Gierczak; five grandchildren, Ava, Brandt, Dominic, Zachary and Clay; her mother, Delores Winter; 13 brothers and sisters, Jerry (Susie) Winter, Sharon Hintz, Sandy (Bob) Weidner, Susie (Erv) Tomalak, Brian (Nancy) Winter, Julie Dudek, Danny (Melissa) Winter, Sheree (Brian) Marto, Boyd (Chris) Winter, Margie (Pat) Long, Holly (Kenny) Radke, Patsy (Kevin) Delzer and Wayne Winter; many nieces and nephews.
Nancy was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Winter and a brother, Kelly Winter.
Friends may call at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 2066 Lawrence Drive, De Pere, from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. Tuesday May 14, 2013. A funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the church with the Rev. John M. Parlow officiating. Burial will be in Nicolet Memorial Gardens.
