Denissen, Donald H.
Donald Henry Denissen, 82, Suamico, son of Nicholas & Lillian (Mikle) Denissen passed away May 16, 2013. He was born Aug 26, 1930 in DePere, WI, moving to Duck Creek at the age of five. Donald married Patricia Armstrong June 20, 1952 in Anchorage, Alaska while serving in the US Army (with the Alaska Communication Service) during the Korean War. He returned to the Signal Dept. of the CNW Railroad, where he retired as signal supervisor after 36 years of service. Donald then worked at the Pine Acres Golf Course. He enjoyed hunting, bowling and golfing. Together they raised six children, after losing their first born, Keith Edwin. Surviving are Lonia Lee Maxwell (Dave), Pamela Joy Williquette (Joe), Rochele Ann Reschke (Steve), Bryan Charles and wife Ann, Debra Marie, and Trudy Jane Kuzava (Steve); 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Preceding him in death are his parents; 2 brothers, Melvin and Harold; 2 grandchildren, Adele and Erin; and his dog Pepper.
