I am so sad to learn, belatedly, of Gen's passing. She was a great friend to my dad when he moved to Green Bay, and I enjoyed her wry smile and the glint in her eye on those times we would get together. I recall her roomful of cats at Moraine Ridge, and the pleasure she took in them. She was a nice lady. Don and Dori, I am sorry for your loss.

Don and Dori,
We are truly sorry for your loss. I bet your aunt is visiting with Ron and my mom and catching them up on the news. Prayers are coming your way. Debbie (Uphill), Ken, and Luke Lisch

Gen was a great, beautiful person who had a wonderful sense of humor. I visited her often at Carrington Manor as a volunteer. She was an excellent painter as she had some of the paintings hanging in her room. She enjoyed her cats living with her until she could no longer take care of them. We talked about Klondike where she had grown up and about her dancing at Kralavitzs in Klondike. She had alot of stories to tell. I will miss not visiting with her at the nursing home. The last time I saw her was about 9 days ago and she was at peace resting in her bed, pictures of her cats around, and listening to her cat musical globe that I always played for her when I visited. She is now looking down on us and is finally home.

Gen was a resident at Moraine Ridge when I worked there. She was truly a lovely lady and a pleasure to talk to. The family has my sympathy. I also grew up in Klondike which Gen and I would discuss.
