God needed another angel so He called Helen home as He had her table waiting. She answered His call on June 6, 2013, just 20 days before her 70th wedding anniversary.

Helen was born February 14, 1920, in Milwaukee, WI to Henry and Amanda Mueller. She attended Milwaukee County General Hospital School of Nursing, serving as a Navy Nurse in World War II and returned to nursing at Milwaukee County General Hospital after her marriage to Charles Dye on June 26, 1943.

Helen continued her nursing profession for many decades, working in Wisconsin, Texas, California and South Dakota. She balanced this passion with her love of travel with her husband, Charles.

Helen will be dearly missed by her husband, Charles; three daughters, Nancy (Bob) Yule, Marilyn (Bill) Lemsky and Char (Doug) Heim; seven grandchildren, and her special canine companion, BlackJack.

Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 11 a.m. to Noon, Monday. The Funeral Service will be held at Noon, Monday, at the funeral home with the Rev. Bill Hager officiating. To send online condolences, please go to www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com.

Helen will be forever appreciated and remembered by her family for her devoted love of Charles, her dedication to her profession as a Registered Nurse and her inspiration that guided her "girls".

Helen's family would like to extend a special thank you to the care provided by AseraCare Hospice and the gentle staff of Artisan Assisted Living in De Pere, WI.
