Joan Frances Doherty, 70, Green Bay, passed away peacefully Saturday afternoon, July 27, 2013, from complications attributed to her long battle with Crohn's disease. She was born October 28, 1942, in Green Bay, to the late Francis and Agnes (Roskowski) Vickman. She attended SS. Joan worked for many years alongside her sister-in-law Phyllis Doherty at the Union Hotel in De Pere. Joan was an avid bowler, where she participated in league play, spending time with her many friends. Joan enjoyed her time at the casino, traveling, in her kitchen making her special recipes, which included chicken booyah, chocolate torte, and cream puffs for her family. She loved growing tomatoes, counting how many she had that year. Joan was also a true Elvis fan.
