Delforge, Roland 'Rollie"
Roland 'Rollie' Delforge, 87, Green Bay, passed away at his home on Thursday, August 1, 2013. He was born in Green Bay on May 30, 1926 to the late Henry and Angeline (Bartell) Delforge. Rollie served in the US Air Force as a First Class Airman during the Korean War and was honorably discharged in 1952. He married Carol Warner in Green Bay on Oct. 4, 1951 at Annunciation Church. Rollie was a fire fighter for the City of Green Bay and retired a Captain. He was a member of St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church.
Survivors include his loving wife of 61 years, Carol; children, Daniel (wife, Barbara) Delforge; Laure (husband, Richard) Michael; Mark Delforge; Mikki (husband, Mark) Conard; eleven grandchildren, Nathan (wife, May Ling) Delforge; Rachel (husband, Kent) Downs; Andrew Delforge, Rebecca Delforge, Wade Michael; Josh Delforge (fiancé, Ashley Magnuson); Tayler Delforge, Dakota Delforge, Cole Conard, Timmy Conard; Jenny (husband, Ryan) Herlache; great grandchild, Connor; brother-in-law, Lyle Warner; sister-in-law; Gwen Delforge-Boehm.
Rollie was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Raymond; Henry (Emily); Donald (Eunice); Hilary (Arleen); Jerry; sisters, Ceil (Elmer) Gulfeth; Evelyn (Alex) Sharp; Rita (Donald) Derbique.
Family and friends may call at the Pfotenhauer Funeral Home & Cremation Service, East-Town location, 2379 East Mason St., Monday, Aug. 5 from 4 until 7:00 p.m. and after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 312 Victoria St. Fire Bell Ceremony and parish prayer service starting at 7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
