Schulz, Allen K.

Allen Kenneth Schulz, age 45, died on Saturday, August 24, 2013, at St. Elizabeth Hospital from heart complications.

He was born May 21, 1968, in Green Bay, the son of Kenneth and Carol (Preston) Schulz. Allen graduated from West DePere High School and Northeast Wisconsin Technical College. Allen lived in Appleton and received support from Outagamie County Human Services. Allen liked to take pictures at Thousand Island Nature Center. He also played in the Appleton City Marching Band and played his trumpet in Appleton City Park.

Allen is survived by his parents, Kenneth, of Green Bay, and Carol, of DePere; a sister, Arlene, of Massachusetts; a brother, Sidney (Helena), of Indiana; a nephew, Nathan, and a niece, Megan. He is further survived by uncles, aunts, and cousins in Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, Minnesota, South Dakota, Arizona, California, and Nevada; and by his special friends in Appleton.

A funeral service for Allen will be Friday, August 30, 2013, 7:00 p.m., at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N. Richmond St., Appleton. Allen's family will receive relatives and friends on Friday at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until the hour of the service. Private entombment will be in Fort Howard Memorial Park, Green Bay. In lieu of flowers, a memorial in Allen's honor is being established. Online condolences can be made at:
