Bredell, Marcia

Marcia L. Bredell 75, Town of Pensaukee passed away unexpectedly Friday evening at her home. Marcia was born October 25, 1938 in Green Bay to the late Vincent and Elvira (Marks) Pelegrin. As a child she enjoyed the family farm life with her brothers and sisters. On October 26, 1957 Marcia married Darol "Sparky" Bredell and together they enjoyed 56 years of marriage. She had a passion for sports and could usually be found wearing a Packers jersey. She loved her children very much and enjoyed watching the birds outside. Survivors include her husband of 56 years Darol "Sparky" Bredell; one son Kenny Bredell (special friend Ruth); one daughter-in-law Julie Bredell; one grandson Ryan (Stephani) Tappa, three great grandchildren, one brother, Giles (Hazel) Pelegrin, 4 sisters; Rose Ann Wygralak, Mary Jean Sheedy, Kathleen Peters, and Florence (Don) Banaszak. One sister-in-law Sharon Pelegrin, one brother-in-law Kurt (Sue) Bredell, two step brother in laws; Orville (Virginia) Kuske and Melvin Leiterman, one step sister Marion (Norbert) Calewarts, her dogs Dolly and Guffy, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by three sons Rick Bredell, Randy Bredell, Dennis "Sparky" Bredell, her stepmother Minnie, two brothers James Pelegrin, Joe Pelegrin, and one step sister Joyce Leiterman. Friends may call at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Oconto on Sunday (today) from 4-8 PM with a Parish Wake Service at 7:30. Visitation will continue on Monday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Oconto from 9:30 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM with Father Bob Karuhn officiating. Interment will be at St. Benedict's Catholic Cemetery, Suamico. The family wishes to thank the many first responders who arrived at the home Friday night, many of whom personally knew Marcia.
