March 8, 2014

Suzanne Fosburgh (73) passed away on March 8, 2014, in Longmont, Colo.

Suzanne is survived by her mother, Dorothy Field; her brothers, Dennis, Darcy and Patrick Field; her husband, Richard; her three children, Bryn,Longmont, Colo.; Lee, Peoria, Ill.; and Heather, New Haven, Conn.; as well as three grandchildren, Tara, Alexandra and Adam and two daughters-in-law, Sheryl and Suzanne.

While most recently living in Longmont, Sue lived in Green Bay for over 45 years. She loved children and this was evident throughout her life. She spent her career in early childhood education—most of it serving as the director of the De Pere Cooperative Nursery School. She was also active in the community, participating in Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Preble High School parent committees, and St. Anne's Episcopal Church.

Sue was an avid runner who completed a marathon, several Bellin Runs and the Breast Awareness Runs, finishing first in her age division only a year after being diagnosed with breast cancer.

Suzie will be remembered for her kind heart, positive outlook, fighting spirit, and most importantly, for being an adoring and dedicated mother and wife. She will be greatly missed.
