Ryan Michael Chambers, 38, of Suamico, was called to Heaven on Friday, June 27, 2014 surrounded by his family at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee. He courageously endured a five week battle with an unexpected illness.
Ryan was the second child born to Bill and Candy Chambers in Green Bay on December 30, 1975. Ryan graduated from Bay Port High School in 1994 and immediately enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and proudly served for six years. He earned his Associates degree in HVAC from NWTC and used his many skills working as Maintenance Supervisor for AmericInn of Green Bay West in Howard. Ryan really enjoyed playing in pool leagues and tournaments and was known for his 8 ball runs. He found joy in cooking for his family and also singing and playing his guitar. Ryan truly enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and his cat, Scooby.
He is survived by his parents, Bill and Candy Chambers; brother, Rob (Cami) Chambers; sister, Wendy Chambers (Shooter Loch); nephew, Willie Chambers; paternal grandmother, Gen Chambers; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, William "Buck" Chambers; maternal grandparents, Cyril and Laverne Ferron; aunt, Jill Ferron.
Friends and family may gather at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2597 Glendale Ave., (one quarter mile east of the corner of Cardinal Ln. and Glendale Ave.), Howard from noon to 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 2. A Prayer Service will be held at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. John Bergstadt officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Troy Pleau, George Chambers, Joe Chambers and Terry Ferron.
Following the Prayer Service, the family would like to invite friends and family to a celebration of Ryan's life at Chambers Hill, 12350 Velp Ave., Suamico from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 2.
A special thanks to the many doctors and nurses in the Medical Intensive Care Unit at Froedtert Hospital for the care given to Ryan.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund for Ryan and libation fund for the rest of us has been established.
