Gail Shefchek Obituary
Gail M. Shefchek, age 77, of Kewaunee died on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 surrounded by her family. She was born on January 15, 1938 in Kewaunee to the late George and Alice (Dittmer) Musil.
She married James R. Shefchek on June 10, 1954 and he preceded her in death on May 22, 2015.
Gail was a lifelong very active member of Holy Rosary Church and a member of the Rosary Society. She enjoyed reading, gardening and was a really good cook. She was Girl Scout leader for a number of years.
Survivors include her children: Becky (Mark) Chaudoir; Vicky (Dick) Romsos; Brenda (Warren) Swintosky; Lisa (Jim) Schaller; Michael (Cheryl) Shefchek; Katie Shefchek; Ann (John) Tess all of Kewaunee; Jim (Sandy) Shefchek; Paul Shefchek of Green Bay; Amy (Jeff) Pearson, Luxemburg; grandchildren: Stacy, David (Kristen), Nicole, Richard (Heather), Chelle (Jeff), Jessup (Jenny), Jeremy (Abby), Jason (Nikki), Rory, Marisa, Justin (Dee), Amber (Chris), Brooke, Derek, Jacob (Rachel), Taylor, Bruce (Shannon), Amanda, Melissa (Aren), Shannon, great grandchildren Paxton, Katelynn, Carilie, Abigail, Chase, Courtney, Caleb, Peyton, Logan, Clara, Savannah, Ethan, Mila, Kayden; one sister: Renee (Michael) Priebe, Suamico; sisters-in-law: Lorraine Shefchek, Two Creeks; Mary Musil, Appleton. She was preceded in death by one son, Thomas; son-in-law, Dale Schlies; brother: James Musil; brother-in-law: Bert Shefchek; sister-in-law: JoAnn (Donald) Anderle;
Friends may call after 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 21 at Buchanan Funeral Home, Kewaunee. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Rosary Church, Kewaunee at 11:00 a.m. by Fr. Ron Columbo. Burial will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery.
