I am deeply saddened and heavy hearted to hear of Linda's passing. I first met her in 1970,in Columbia,SC when I was member of the FADS Dance Service and she was a teacher in Columbia,SC.
She started her dance career at the Greenville FADS and moved to Columbia whee she worked until she and her son, Tad moved to Clearwater,Florida. She married Dan Douglas and together they ran Florida's largest and most successful studio. We started our Dance Partnership in 1975 and were finalists in The United States Ballroom Championships in 1975 and 1976. Linda then went on to become an associate in Dance Service and was welcomed by al of us, John Monte, Ann Perrone, Dagmar Jarvel, Joe Bennetti, Pete Taylor, Donna Smith and myself. Pete,Donna and I are the only 2 left from that group. I am sure the rest of the group are welcoming her with open arms. Linda was a Loveyl Lady, a Beautiful dancer and a Friend that I will always love. God Bless you Linda please save a dance for me.

I am also sadden to hear of Linda's passing. I always thought of Linda as a honest, warm, and caring person. We always enjoyed her when she came to coach in our studios. May God receive her with open arms. My thoughts and prayers go out to Tad, Elizabeth and Linda's family.

My heart is saddened to learn of Linda's passing. She was one of my favorite mentors during my years in Fred Astaire's. May her journey to heaven be peaceful and may she forever dance among the clouds. I will remember her always with fond memories.
My sincerest condolences to her family.
