A celebration of life for Mr. McCollum will be held Thursday at Arial United Methodist Church. Visitation will be prior to the service from 12:30 until 1:45PM at the church. Private interment will be held at a later date.
Timothy Wayne McCollum, 55, of 301 Store Road, died Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at Cannon Memorial Hospital in Pickens. Born in Greenville, he was the husband of Elizabeth O'Bryant McCollum and a son of the late Furman Matthew and Lillie Kathleen Wiggins McCollum. He previously worked for General Electric in Greenville for 34 years and was a member of Arial United Methodist Church.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Angie O'Bryant of Pickens; two sons, Zach McCollum and his wife Amber of Pickens and Freddie Galloway of Easley; a sister, Pam Reynolds and her husband Mike of Greer; two Brothers, Phil McCollum and his wife Robin, and Hal McCollum and his wife Brenda all of Easley; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Tim loved little children, laughing with friends, listening to old vinyl records and the outdoors and will be missed by all that knew him.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Arial United Methodist Church: 829 Gentry Memorial Highway Easley, SC 29640. The family will be at their respective homes. Memorial messages may be sent to the family by visiting www.libertymortuary.com Liberty Mortuary and Cremation Services are handling the arrangements.

Elizabeth though I never meet you my thoughts and prayers are with you. I worked with Zack for the past 20 years and He was a true Friend. He talked of you and all of his Family. May the the Days be bright and the memories be fond. Zack was a great Man ad he will be missed buy Many
