Janice Betty Fletcher Begley
Greenville
Janice Betty Fletcher Begley, 88 years of age, of Greenville, SC, died January 4th, 2013, of natural causes.
Born in Dodson, Louisiana on November 4, 1924, to Albert and Elizabeth Fletcher, she was one of 9 siblings.
She resided in Greenville for over 50 years where she worked as a waitress for more than 40 years and a school crossing guard for 18.
She was predeceased by her husband, Staff Sergeant Lesley Begley, of the United States Air Force.
She is survived by her brother, Harvey Fletcher of San Jose, California, her son and his wife, Jim and Cheryl Begley of Cary, NC, her granddaughter and her husband, Jennifer and Denis Salmon of Aiken, SC, and her grandson and his wife, Carlos and Sylvia Montgomery of Greenville, SC.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 2:00pm, at Greenville Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to the Greenville Humane Society (305 Airport Road, Greenville, SC 29607).

So many wonderful memories Granny. May you rest in peace. Sending prayers to the family. Jennifer thank you for sharing her with me. I will never forget.

Janice was a real down to earth person. A hard worker and a true friend to my mother. She was like a second Mom to my sisters and I. I know she is finally home sitting at the feet of Jesus and marveling at all He has waiting for us who believe. See you again one fine day Janice. I promise! Much love!

I know we did not see eye to eye on everything. I hope you knew in your herat of hearts that I truly love your granddaughter with all of my heart. I will cherish her til the day I die.
