June Marie Jacobs Waldrop

June Marie Jacobs Waldrop, 59, passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2012 at the McCall Hospice House.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was a daughter of Harry Leon Jacobs and the late Ruby Marie Lyday Jacobs. Mrs. Waldrop attended Travelers Rest High School, Class of 1972. She owned June Bug Creations in Taylors and attended Choice Hills Baptist Church for many years.
She is survived by her former husband of 30 years, Raymond Waldrop, Sr.:one daughter: Tabatha (Benjamin) Brower; one son: James Raymond Waldrop, Jr.: one sister: Cindy Ann (Crawford) Cole; four grandchildren: Joshua Jacob, MaKayla Marie, MaKenzie Marie, and Jonathan James Brower; one granddaughter to be born any day; one nephew: Ford (Stephanie) Cole; one great-niece: Lily Ann Cole; many close cousins, and a close friend, Sue Stromer.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5-6 p.m. at The Howze Mortuary.
Funeral services will be 6 p.m. Wednesday at The Howze Mortuary Chapel
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the June Bug Creations Memorial fund, C/O TD Bank, Travelers Rest.
The family will be at the home of the daughter, Tabatha Brower.

Prayers are with the family. I remember her beautiful face and smile just like the picture. She will be missed as a mother, sister, family, and a friend, but her sweet spirit shall live within all of our hearts.

June was such a beautiful, sweet person and our family will not be the same without her. We now have a special guardian angel looking over us. She will live on in our hearts forever.

June was a Christian woman that the Light of Christ shone through... you knew she was in God's family the minute you met her.... My love and prayers go out to the family as I know they loved her dearly.. She is well now and walking the streets with The Lord... Tabitha, keep in touch... I love you and I loved your mom.

She was a very special person. The kind that you seldom have the pleasure of knowing your whole life, but if you did you were truly blessed. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and loved ones, as she will be missed in the years to come.
