Orrie J. Larke
Greer
Orrie Elleta Johnson Larke, 83, of 203 Acorn Drive, widow of Henry Holland Larke, died July 8, 2012 at Mary Black Hospital.
A native of Spartanburg County, daughter of the late James and Lillian Gregory Johnson, she was a retired employee of Tex-Tube and former employee of J.P. Stevens Victor Plant, a member of Greer Church of God.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Henry Eugene and Ginger Larke of Greer; two brothers, Leroy Johnson and Donald Johnson; two grandsons and their spouses, Josh B. and Sara Larke and David E. and Jennifer Gibson and five great-grandchildren, Madison, Carter, Caroline, Nathan and Rachel Gibson.
Mrs. Larke was predeceased by a daughter, Brenda Elaine Larke, four brothers, J.W. (Dub) Johnson, Glen Johnson, Eston Johnson and Gentry (Pete) Johnson and a sister Mary Hayes.
Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Wood Mortuary.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Wood Mortuary conducted by Rev. Bobby Duncan and Rev. Gene Land. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
The family is at her residence.

Sorry to hear of the passing of Orrie, We attended Greer church for years with she and her husband. God is gathering in his own! We all must stay ready for our call!
