Bill Lewis
Piedmont
George William "Bill" Lewis 68, husband of Nancy B. Lewis, of Piedmont, died Friday, March 1, 2013.
Born in New Castle, IN, he was a son of Bonnie Stockton, of New Castle, and the late George C. Lewis.
Bill retired from Fluor, and last worked as an electrical design engineer for Day and Zimmerman Engineering.
He was an ordained Elder in the Presbyterian Church USA. Mr. Lewis was a member of Providence Presbyterian Church where he was a choir member and served on the Building and Grounds Committee.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of 40 years and his mother, are a son, Brad Lewis and wife Linda, of Greer; a granddaughter, Samantha Lewis, of Greer; a grandson, William Lewis, of Greer; two sisters, Ruth Neal (Ed), of Liberty; Lesia Diego (John), of Whitinsville, MA; a brother, Jim Lewis (Vicki), of Foley, AL, and a sister-in-law, Linda Baker, of Summerville.
A Memorial Service will be at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at Providence Presbyterian Church where the family will receive friends following the service.
Memorials may be made to Providence Presbyterian Church, 4000 Highway 153, Greenville, SC 29611.

I met Mr. Lewis when I was in grade school.He was an inspiration to all young athletes.He will be missed. My deepest sympathies.

Mrs. Lewis my condolences to you and your family. I never got to meet you but Samantha talked about y'all often while working at the Hotdog Cafe! I know he will be missed deeply just know you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers during your time of loss!
