We are still saddened by Dave's passing. Our love and memory of him will persist as long as we live. He meant so much to us both as a colleague and as a very close friend. He was the very best in everything he endeavored and we still miss him greatly.

Brenda and I are most distressed to just yesterday read of Dave's passing. We were very best friends despite the fact that he was a War Eagle! He was a colleague with whom I worked closely at Kemet, and we enjoyed many events in downtown Greenville and at Wadmalaw and Charleston together through the years. We managed to stay in touch until late October when we no longer were able to connect. We are deeply disappointed that we were in Florence and did not know he was there in early November. Words cannot describe how very much we miss him and how dependable a friend and colleague he was to both of us. Dave will be sorely missed especially to those of us who loved and appreciated him. As a Bulldog, I can now say with pride: I am deeply indebted to God that I knew the very best of Auburn War Eagles.
