Anderson, William - Liberty  
William Anderson Liberty On Thursday, December 18, 2014, an angel from heaven bore the soul of William Herman (Elmo) Anderson, 61, of 209 E. Main Street, Liberty, SC from Greenville Memorial Hospital. William was born on June 20, 1953 to the late Herman and Allean Lula Reid Anderson. He graduate from Liberty High School in 1971. He was also a graduated of Massey Business Institute in Jacksonville, Florida and was employed by Duke Energy for twenty plus years. He was a life-time member of Robinson Chapel United Methodist Church and served in many capacities. He especially enjoyed singing in the choirs. He previously served as President of the United Methodist Men and the Liberty's All Male Chorus. William was co-founder of the Gospel Harmonizers and also a member of the Pickens County Mass Choir. William leaves to cherish fond memories one daughter, Sharika Welborn; three granddaughters, Carrie, Savannah, Brooklyn Ariana; three grandsons: Zadarius, Zachary and William (AJ); five sisters: Emily, Marian, Carrie, Frankie and Pearl; two brothers: Spencer (Minnie) and Sammy, Charles and Olin preceded him in death; six nephews, three nieces, two grand-nephews, three grand-nieces, a loving cousin, Nell and extended family: Melvin, Tim, Cindy and Courtney and other loving cousins and friends. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2014, at Robinson Chapel UMC with Interment in Liberty Memorial Gardens. The family is located at 209 E. Aiken, Willie - Williamston  
Willie Aiken Williamston Willie Simpson Aiken, 90, widower of Nell Jennings Aiken, died Sunday, December 14, 2014 at his home. Born in Pickens County, he was a son of the late Will Aiken, Jr. and Mary Lou Simpson Aiken. He was owner/operator of Willie S. Aiken Home Builders, a member of Calvary Baptist Church and Williamston Masonic Lodge # 24. He was also an Army WWII veteran. Surviving are a son, Larry B. Aiken of Powdersville; daughters, Dianne Aiken Blackstone, Patricia Aiken McDavid, Deborah Aiken Melton, Kathy Aiken King, Donna Aiken Hawkins, all of Williamston; sister, Frances James of Easley; fourteen grandchildren; forty-two great-grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 12:00 - 1: 30 p.m. Wednesday at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Anderson. Albertson, Dock - Liberty  
Doc Franklin Albertson Liberty Mr. Dock Franklin Albertson, 85, husband of the late Louise Gillespie Albertson, passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at his home. Born in Anderson County, a son of the late Henry Franklin and Ruby Bishop Albertson, Mr. Albertson retired from American Services and was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are a son, William Albertson of Liberty; two daughters, Mary Woodall (Paul) of Six Mile, and Joyce Rampey (Jim) of Liberty; six brothers, Dan, Harold, Jerry, Truman, Jimmy, and Ozell Albertson; two sisters, Sue Whitman and Della Thompson; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Albertson was predeceased by six brothers and six sisters. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, December 18, 2014 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from noon until 1:45 PM Thursday at the funeral home, prior to the service. The family is at the home of a daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Jim Rampey, 381 Golden Creek Road, Liberty, SC 29657. Timothy Michael Arrowood Travelers Rest Timothy Michael Arrowood, 19, of Travelers Rest, died Friday, December 12, 2014. Born in Greenville, he was a son of Albert Arrowood, Jr. and Brenda Arrowood. In addition to his parents, he is survived by one sister, Caroline Arrowood; paternal grandparents, Albert Arrowood, Sr., Sherry Sexton and Wanda Arrowood; and maternal grandparents, Cynthia and Javier Ramirez. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 17, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. A Funeral service will be held Thursday, December 18, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. in the Northwest chapel. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery West. The family will be at the home. Askew, Barbara Ann - Pickens  
Barbara Ann Askew Pickens Barbara Jane Askew, 29, of Pickens, went to be with the Lord December 14, 2014. Survivors include her parents, Rhonda and Charles Nichols; her father and his wife, Ted and Cindi Askew; siblings: Travis and Bailey Askew, Chase Lovell; a niece, Hope Howard; grandmother, Barbara Howard; grandfather, Steve Howard; great-grandmother, Rose Agee; and various aunts, uncles and cousins. Memorial Services will be held 2:30 Thursday at the Cremation Society of SC with visitation prior to service at 2PM.
