"Mandie" Mahon Honea Path Amanda "Mandie" Lynn Deeble Mahon, 36, died Friday, June 17, 2016 at her home. Born in Amherst, NY, she was the daughter of Thomas James Deeble of Laurens and Roxanne Eva Crutts Cantrell. She was employed with First Call, Greenville. Surviving in addition to her parents are daughter, Alexis Danielle Mahon of the home; step-father, Scott Cantrell of the home; brothers, Kevin Colppy (Tonya) of Mauldin, T.J. Deeble, II (Julie) of Laurens; Matthew Teed of Lake City, Michigan; sister, Wendy Deeble Els. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer. Martin, Dwight Nelson - Laurens  
Dwight Nelson Martin Laurens Dwight Nelson Martin, 82, of Laurens and husband of 60 years to Martha Cooley Martin, passed away Friday, June 24, 2016, at National HealthCare in Laurens. Born in Erlanger, North Carolina, he was a son of the late Walter Lee and Edna Bozard Martin. He was a Laurens High School graduate. A U.S. Navy Veteran, he served aboard the USS Gurke during the Korean Conflict. Retired from Laurens Glass after 40 years, Mr. Martin was the owner of Dwight Martin Upholstery. He was an active member of St. James United Methodist Church and was a former Worshipful Master of the Schroder Masonic Lodge #144 in Gray Court. He was a member of the Laurens Exchange Club. In addition to his wife, he is survived by: his children, Kaye Akin and husband Robert of Greenville, and Wayne Martin and wife Trish of Fountain Inn; grandchildren, Lindley Mahon, Brandon Mahon, Lianna Mahon, Nathan Mahon, Taylor Schulte, Hannah Schulte, and Hailey Schulte; and great grandchild, Rylan Mahon Ramirez. He was predeceased by: brothers, Howard and Gene Martin; and a sister, Martha Pearson. Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 pm, Sunday, June 26, 2016, at St. James United Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. Tommy Bailey. A private burial will be held in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will be at the home and will receive friends in the St. James Family Life Center, immediately following the service. Mason, Frances - Greer  
Frances Knighton Mason Greer Jesus welcomed Frances Knighton Mason to be with him forever on June 19, 2016. She will be with George H. Mason, her late husband, and many gone before including her parents, Carrie Elizabeth Moss Knighton and George Washington Knighton and nine of her siblings. She lived 86 years and raised one daughter, Karen Mason Chapman (Bobby); two sons, Edward Mason and Steve Mason (Kathy) all of Greer. She was blessed with six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is survived by one, very loved brother, Joe K. Knighton (Emerson) of Greer. She was born and raised in Greer, South Carolina. Sadly, she suffered sixteen years with Alzheimer's. We are forever grateful to the staff of The Cottages at Brushy Creek and Gentiva Hospice for blessing her and our family with tender loving care. Visitation and service will be held at Mount Lebanon Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Smith and Chaplain Rex Keaton officiating. Visitation will be from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m., Tuesday, June 21, 2016 and service at 2:00 p.m. The family will be at the home of her daughter, Karen Chapman. John Daryl Masters Simpsonville John Daryl Masters, 48, husband of Leslie Rhodes Masters, passed away Friday, June 24, 2016. Born in Greenwood, he was a son of Terry Lewis and Elaine Hunter Masters. Daryl was a Partner with Masters RV Centre in Greenwood. He attended Brookwood Community Church. Daryl loved boating, was a sports enthusiast, and above all enjoyed being with his family. Surviving in addition to his wife of 12 years, and mother and father, is a son, John "Jack" Daryl Masters II, and a daughter, Ava Camille Masters, both of the home; a daughter, Allison Elizabeth Masters; a son, David Zachary Masters, and fiancé Holly; a grandson, David Cruz Masters; a brother, Terry Lewis Masters, Jr., and wife, Kim; a nephew, Taylor Killian Masters; two nieces, Anna Colleen Masters and Margaret Reid Masters; and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Rebecca Arledge-Edwards and Doug Edwards. A visitation will be held Monday, June 27, 2016, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Southeast. The funeral service will be Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at 12:00 noon in the chapel of Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Southeast. Burial will follow in Graceland East Memorial Park. McCauley, Steven - Travelers Rest  
Steven B. McCauley Travelers Rest, SC Steven Barry McCauley, 59, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 24, 2016 at his home. Born in Greenville County, he was the son of Hugh McCauley and the late Betty Turner McCauley. He was retired from Star Paper Company and a member of Enoree Baptist Church. Along with his father, Steven is survived by two daughters: Stevie McCauley and Stephanie Fowler; sister: Vicki Grogan; brothers: Clark (Gaynell) McCauley and Gerald (Lynn) McCauley; two grandchildren and his special caregiver, Harry McCauley. Visitation will be Sunday, June 26, 2016 at The Howze Mortuary from 2 until 2:45 p.m. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 3 p.m. in The Howze Mortuary Chapel. Burial will be private. Vivian Rae McKinney Greenville Vivian Rae McKinney, 75, of Greenville, widow of Phillip Marshall McKinney, died Saturday, June 18, 2016. Born in Charlotte, NC, she was a daughter of the late McLeod and Delia Wilson Randall. Vivian was a member of Berea Heights Baptist Church and was an avid reader. She is survived by two daughters, Karen Gentry and Cathy Summey; two grandchildren, Amanda Schoemer (Zack) and Taylor Summey; and one sister, Christine Gable. In addition to her loving husband she was preceded in death by one sister, Gladys Little; and one brother, Fred Randall. A visitation will be held Thursday, June 23, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:15 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest with the funeral service to follow at 1:30 p.m. in the Northwest Chapel. Mills, Joanne Belcher - Campobello  
Joanne Belcher Mills Campobello Barbara Joanne Belcher Mills, 77, of 560 Belcher Road, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at Lake Emory Post Acute Care, Inman, South Carolina, after a brief battle with cancer. Joanne was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina on September 29, 1938, a daughter of the late George and Thelma Barbare Belcher. She was the widow of George Mills. Mrs. Mills was a member of Motlow Creek Baptist Church, a retired seamstress and enjoyed spending time with her family. Mrs. Mills is survived by two daughters, Barbara Mills Lance and her husband Rick, Sheila Mills Powers and her husband Wally; three sisters, Patricia Newman and her husband Raymond, Brenda Spicer and her husband Lee, Deborah Blackwell and her husband Franklin; one brother, Larry Belcher and his wife Betty Jo; one brother-in-law, Gary Clayton all of Campobello, South Carolina; six grandchildren, Josh Lance and Jennifer Lance both of Greenville, South Carolina and Jessica Morris, Jonathan Brewer, Jason Mills and Tyler Powers all of Campobello, South Carolina. In addition to her parents and husband, Joanne was predeceased by one sister, Judy Clayton. Visitation will be held, Monday, June 27, 2016 from 2:00 PM until 2:45 PM at Motlow Creek Baptist Church. Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 PM, Monday, June 27, 2016, at Motlow Creek Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Terry Rainey. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
