Adeline Thompson Garrett, 73, of Simpsonville, passed away on Sunday, March 10th, 2013 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

She was the wife of the late Dennis " Dink" Garrett, and the daughter of the late Laurence Thompson and Frances (Thompson) Bagwell. She was a member of Standing Springs Baptist Church and the Cross Sunday School Class. She was a homemaker, but later in life enjoyed working in her church Child Development Center caring for infants.

Surviving are a son, Richard Garrett and his wife Hope; two daughters, Julie Shealy, Jill Turner and her husband Dale; four grandchildren, Ashley Sullivan, Jordan Shealy, Andrew Turner, Adam Turner; and a great-grandson, Rylan Sullivan. In addition to her father and husband, she was predeceased by a grandson, Austin Shealy.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 12th from 6:00-7:30pm at Cannon Funeral Home, Jones Chapel, in Simpsonville.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 13th at 2:00pm at Standing Springs Baptist Church in Simpsonville with burial following in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Standing Springs Baptist Church Child Development Center, 1111 West Georgia Road, Simpsonville, SC 29680

The family is at the home of Mrs. Garrett.
