Carlos Taylor "Todd" Morrison, 86, of 2 White Empress Drive, formerly of Bradley Park in Anderson, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at the Sterling House in Greer.
Born November 9, 1926 in Vinton, Ohio, he was the son of the late Pearlie and Mary Preston Morrison. He was a U.S. Army
Veteran of World War II
and attended Rio Grande College. Mr. Morrison was retired from Norfolk Southern Railway with 32 years service. He was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church in Anderson.
Survivors include three sons, John Morrison (Michelle) of Greenville, Richard Morrison (Jandell) of Winston-Salem, NC, and Norman Morrison (Sheri) of Taylors; five granddaughters, Magee, Lacey, Maculay and Caroline Morrison, Hillary Salter (Clif); one great grandson, Levi Allen Salter; and his beloved dog, Boots.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rachel Evans Morrison, who died December 5, 2012, and two brothers, Arnold and Raymond Morrison.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, July 28, 2013 at Sullivan-King Mortuary Chapel conducted by Rev. Dan Batson. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by Campbell Patriots Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 3 until 4 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary, 3205 North Highway 81, Anderson.
