Carrie Frances Norris, 75, of Florence, died Tuesday, January 8, 2013 in Florence, SC. She was born November 28, 1937 in Simpsonville, SC to the late William Harold and Eunice Parrish Norris.

Miss. Norris graduated from SC Baptist Hospital School of Nursing, Columbia, SC. Later she obtained her Masters of Public Health. Her nursing career consisted primarily of nursing administration. In this role she was responsible for implementing hospice care, through which her love of hospice grew. It was here where her desire to better serve ones community flourished and continued to grow. She was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church, Florence, SC, where she taught the Women's Sunday School Class along with other dedicated women who were committed to discipling women and fostering their spiritual growth. This has led to the development and growth of the Women's Ministry at St. Luke's. Carrie's greatest desire was for all to know Christ as Savior and to share his love with others.

Survivors include: sister - Lillian (Butch) Collins of Simpsonville, SC; brother - William (Helen) Norris of Winston-Salem, NC; 6 nieces; 9 great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, January 12, 2013, at St. Luke Lutheran Church.
