Erin Crittenden Shook
Erin Crittenden Shook, 31, died unexpectedly Saturday, July 6, 2013 in Greer. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister, and her time here was marked by a deep commitment to family, career and friendship.
Erin was born February 4, 1982 in Greenville. She excelled at every level in school until graduating with honors with a Bachelor's degree in History from Furman University. She then moved on to a very successful career in Information Technology at MetLife, following in her father's footsteps.
Erin had a long-time passion and talent for knitting, and was constantly producing beautiful, hand-crafted clothing for her family and fans of her online store.
She is survived by her one year old son, Emerson Shook; her husband, Jason Shook; her mother, Jean Marie Crittenden; her brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Nancy Crittenden; her grandparents, Gaybrooke and Thomas Crittenden; and her beloved bulldog, Emma. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Charles Crittenden.
A service to celebrate Erin's life will be Friday, July 12th at 11:00am at The Mackey Mortuary with visitation starting at 10:00am.
