Hazel Thompson Anglin, 92, died Tuesday, December 31, 2013.

Born in Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late Lee Bryson and Minnie Inez West Lawter.

Mrs. Anglin was a member of Edwards Road Baptist Church. She was a great seamstress and a wonderful homemaker. She worked at Ivey's in the cosmetic area and enjoyed this career greatly.

Surviving are two daughters, Wilma Liles and husband, Wayne, of Boiling Springs and Deborah Cole and husband, Clifton, of Florida; son, Maxie Thompson, of Greenville; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; stepdaughter, Stephanie Sams, of Florida; stepson, Doug Anglin, of Texas; and a step grandchild. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Maxie H. Thompson; second husband, Orval Anglin; brother, Lewis B. Lawter; and daughter-in-law, Betty Thompson.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 4, 2014 from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. in the Downtown Chapel. Entombment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
