Helen S. Janulis
Helen S. Janulis, 83, of Greenville, SC, died Sunday, June 30, 2013. Born in Jersey City, N.J., on April 28, 1930, she was the daughter of Constantine and Anna Symeonides. She lived in Florida most of her life before moving to Greenville and enjoyed music, tennis, boating and the ocean. She was of the Greek Orthodox faith. She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Dr. Alexander Theodore Janulis.
She is survived by her two sons, Steven Janulis and his wife Gwendolyn of Kingsport, Tenn., and Mark Janulis and his wife Dee Dee of Williamston, SC; three granddaughters, Alexa Marion, of Greenville, SC, Adelyn Janulis of New York City, NY, and Nevaeh Janulis of Kingsport, Tenn., a brother Jeffrey Symeonides and his wife Stacy of Paramus, N.J., a sister in law, Lyn Janulis of Delray, Fla., three nephews, two nieces, great-nieces and great-nephews and special family friends, Terrie Janulis of Greenville, S.C., and Jessica Kilgore of Kingsport, Tenn. A special thank you to all of the wonderful staff at Pendleton Manor in Greenville, S.C. for the special care given to our mother over the years. A funeral service will be held tomorrow Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home located at 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, S.C.
