Emma Izora Elledge Boiter, 94, widow of F. Ernest Boiter, of 139 Sprouse Rd., died Tuesday, August 14, 2012, at Self Regional Medical Center.

Born in Laurens County, she was a daughter of the late James Newton and Emma Elledge Elledge. She was a member of Union Baptist Church and was a seamstress, retired from Tavern Sportswear. She was also a member of the D.A.R.

Surviving are two sons: Jim Boiter and wife, Mary, of Belton, and Kevin Boiter and wife, Anne, of Ninety Six; and one grandchild, Molly Elledge Boiter of Belton. She was predeceased by a brother: James P. Elledge; and two sisters: Mary Elledge Johnson and Julia Elledge Bullock.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, August 17, 2012, at Union Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Garrison officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. prior to the services at the church.
