1SG Jack Howard Curlee, USAF Retired, 86, husband of Frances Seaborn Curlee, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 27, 2013.

Mr. Curlee was born December 25, 1926 in Salisbury, NC, to the late Samuel Jouner Curlee and Nellie Mae Hawkins Curlee. He retired as the owner and operator of A-1 Bonding Company and in 1995, served as the President of the S.C. Bail Agents Association. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Navy, having served in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. Jack was a member of the VFW Lodge in Simpsonville, American Legion Post #3, Empire Masonic Lodge #213, and the HEJAZ Shriners, where he served two terms as the Commander of the Legion of Honor. He was a member of Five Forks Baptist Church. He attended Florida State University and was a true Seminole fan.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two sons, Mike Curlee and wife Karen, and Jack D. Curlee; four grandchildren, TSGT Marc Curlee, Jennifer Hamrick and husband Cody, Jeremy Curlee, and Patrick Curlee; and six great-grandchildren, Zachary, Austin, Kaylee, Sara, and Isabelle Curlee, and Garrett Hamrick. He was predeceased by two brothers, Billy Curlee and Harold Curlee.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday in the mausoleum Chapel at Graceland East Cemetery, officiated by Dr. Howard Foster. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
