Jeanette Middleton went safely home to be with her Lord and Savior on April 19th at 12:53 a.m. She fought a good fight, overcoming many health challenges since October of 2011, but lung cancer was finally too much for her body.
Born June 25th, 1927, in Harlan, KY her 85 years have touched many lives with love, integrity, courage, wisdom, sensitivity, encouragement, and protection. She was a beautiful woman, who worked together with our Dad to acknowledge their humble beginnings, but strive always to make things better for her Family and Friends, and they gave us plenty, they gave us love. They had a good life together, being married to Hobart for 59 years, and having 3 children, two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, one son-in-law, and all the nieces and nephews in MI, KY, FL, and TX, as well as sister-in-law, Margaret, KY. Special friends were also adopted, with a love that binds...Bev Malone, Barbara Dhyrberg, Jack DelGado, all the neighbors and their children on Dacus Drive in SC, Gigi Johnson in Texas, Koememann Family, SC, Kristine Woodford, SC, neighbors in Greenville, SC, neighbors in Sharpin Lane, and her many, many friends at Elmcroft Assisted Living. She loved us all!
Preceded in death by husband, Hobart; son, Roy; brothers, J.D. and Claude Farmer; mother and father, Martha and Homer Farmer. Left to mourn with love: Jackie and Vita DelGado (daughter and granddaughter, SC), Kollette and Derek Clark (granddaughter and grandson-in-law, GA) their children, Brittany and Ashley Clark (great-grandchildren); Elaine and Karl Thormann (daughter and son-in-law, TX), Mitchell Family, KY, Skidmore Family, KY, Bergin Family and Casey Family, KY, Farmer Family, KY, Bailey Family, KY, Shell Girls, KY, Swain Family, MI, DeSantis Family, MI, Middleton Family, IN and KY, Cook Family and Tipton Family, FL, Roe Family, MI, Farmer Family, TX and all the special friends in KY, SC, MI and TX.

We had her a little while longer because of you.
Her life on earth has ended, but now it truly begins...Preference of Graveside service, April 26th, Friday, 1:00 p.m. at Graceland East Memorial Park, 2206 Woodruff Road, Simpsonville, SC 29681, open to everyone. No other viewing days, at Mom's request. Cannon Funeral Home, 603 West Curtis, Simpsonville, SC will transfer acknowledgement of sympathy to Graceland East Memorial Park.
