Kenneth Wayne Belcher, 63, of North Hwy 14, died November 25, 2012 at his home after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
A native of Greenville County, son of Velma Stokes Phillips of Greenville and the late Bill Belcher, he was a retired employee of Homelite and John Deere where he spent two years in China and concluded his career there. Mr. Belcher was a member of Mount Lebanon Baptist Church.
Surviving is his loving wife, Debra Callahan Belcher of the home; two sons and daughter-in-law, Dorn and Kim Barker of Travelers Rest and Dustin Atkins of Hackleburg, AL; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Vickie and Johnny Bruce of Greer, Kathy and Mike Pruitt of Travelers Rest and Billie Kae and Larry Hart of Taylors; two grandchildren, Kiley and Reid Barker; numerous nieces and nephews and special friends, John "Boy" Neely, James "J.P" Payne, Sharon and JT, Elke and Karen who stood by him during his illness.
Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Wood Mortuary in Greer, conducted by his son, Pastor Dustin Atkins.
Visitation will be held 12:00-2:00 p.m. Saturday at Wood Mortuary.
