Elois 'Lois' Hopper Foster died January 11, 2013 at McCall Hospice House. She was the daughter of the late James Thomas and Bertha Stepp Hopper.

Lois was a 40 year resident of Greenville and touched many lives with her work at Christ Church Knitters.

Lois is survived by her husband William R. Foster, of the home; a daughter, Elizabeth H. Shoolbred of Simpsonville; a brother, Terry W. Hopper of Taft, CA; step daughters, Katherine F. Holland (Charles) of St. Matthews, Lucile F. Alliano (John) of Hammonton, NJ; a number of nieces and nephews; special friends, Nancy C. Andrews, Annette Clark, and Cathy Galloway; and special pets, Sophie, Willie, and Bitsy.

A memorial service will be held in Markley Chapel of Christ Episcopal Church at 1 p.m., January 15, 2013; the Rev. Bob Childs, officiating. Entombment in the church yard will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Greenville Humane Society, 305 Airport Road, Greenville, SC 29707-2610.
