Maria Manuella Thompson Boucher

Maria Manuella Thompson Boucher, 90, of Simpsonville, widow of Herbert V. Boucher, died Saturday, November 3, 2012.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Manuel Cabrera Thompson and Ruth Agnes Seiferd Thompson.

Mrs. Boucher retired as a registered nurse and was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.

Surviving are three daughters, Christine R. Lieder, Monica T. Davis, and Dorothy V. Sherman; six sons, James V. Boucher, Robert M. Boucher, M.D., Mark F. Boucher, Herbert J. Boucher, Gregory C. Boucher, and Joseph A. Boucher; 25 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and a brother, John M. Thompson.

She was preceded in death by her children Anne V. Black, Marie B. Raganella, Therese J. Boucher, Peter J. Boucher, and Edmond A. Boucher.

The recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. with visitation following until 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Southeast, 1604 NE Main St., Simpsonville, SC 29681. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:10 p.m. Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Burial will be in Graceland East Memorial Park.
