Norma Heatherly, 71, of 207 Scottswood Road, died August 25, 2013 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
A native of Transylvania County, North Carolina, daughter of Ressie Mae Jenkins Whitmire Wilson of Greenville and the late Hubert Whitmire, she was a retired employee of South Carolina Bank & Trust and a member of Taylors First Baptist Church.
Also surviving are her husband, John E. Heatherly, Sr. of the home; three daughters, Donna Dotson Heatherly of Greenville, Dawn Carper (Roger) of Taylors, and Christy Selinger (Rich) of Greenville; a son, John Heatherly, Jr. of Anaheim, California; two brothers, Don Littleton of Rosman, North Carolina and Ronnie Whitmire of Greenville; four sisters, Guyma Rhodes and Marinda Rhodes both of Greenville, Betty Gilliland of Easley, and Sue Jenkins of Greenville; six grandchildren, Stephanie Waddell, Kara Waddell, Andrew Carper, Kylie Carper, Chase Selinger, and Ryan Selinger; and three great-grandchildren, Devin Waddell, Hunter Waddell, and Callie Waddell.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Taylors First Baptist Church Chapel, conducted by Rev. Lindsey O'Rear. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Don Littleton, Roger Carper, Rich Selinger, Andrew Carper, Chase Selinger, and Ryan Selinger.
Visitation will be held 12:00-1:30 p.m. Thursday in the gathering space behind the chapel at Taylors First Baptist Church.
