Norman Larry Carroll, Jr.
Norman Larry Carroll, Jr., 69, husband of Jane Miller Carroll, died Tuesday, September 3, 2013.
Born June 1, 1944 in East Liverpool, OH, he was the son of the late Norman L. Carroll, Sr. and Velma Coleman Carroll.
Larry was owner of ServiceMaster of the Upstate and a member of Tyger River Presbyterian Church. He was an Ohio State Highway Patrolman and worked for the Cincinnati Insurance Company. He was a Mason at The Grand Lodge of F & A M of Ohio, Lisbon Lodge. He was Past President of the Piedmont Claims Association. He was involved with the Greenville Eagles Soccer Club, Upstate Girls Soccer Association and Eastside High School Soccer Program.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of 38 years, are son and daughter-in-law, Kristofer and Mary Ann Carroll, of Mauldin; daughter and son-in-law, Beth and Jonathan Ewing, of Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren, Miller, Keaton, Adelaide and Lorelei Ewing; brothers, Marvin Carroll (Marcia), of Lisbon, OH and Kevin Carroll (April), of East Liverpool, OH; sisters, Marilyn Matheny (Keith), of Lyman, Jackie Carroll, of Gray Court, Jannine Carroll, of East Liverpool, OH, and Michelle Crouse (Tom), of Palmyra, PA; aunt Lois Myers, of East Liverpool; father and mother-in-law, Bill and Marilyn Bergert, of Lisbon, OH; brothers-in-law, Bob Miller (Kathy), Jim Bergert (Pauline), Dan Bergert (Ellen); and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Pam Bissell Carroll; sons, Randy and Jeff Carroll; sister, Linda Carroll Six; and brothers-in-law Dan Six and Pete Miller.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 8, 2013 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. The funeral service will be Monday, September 9, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. in the Downtown Chapel. Burial will be in Columbiana County Memorial Park in Ohio.
