Mrs. Sallie Dodenhoff Savage, 68, of 102 Sanderling Drive in Greenville went to be with the Lord early Monday Morning the 29th of October, after a courageous battle with Leukemia.

Born on December 21, 1943 in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late Ruth Costner Dodenhoff of Greenville; and she was the beloved wife of the late Terry Eugene Savage who passed in 2005.

Mrs. Savage went to Greenville High School, and was the Vice President of Sales at Markdown Mobile Homes in Mauldin For 28 years. She was also an antique expert, known for her love of clocks.

Mrs. Savage was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church.

Surviving are her children, daughter Summer Savage Crawford and husband Charles Crawford of Greenville; son Tyrus Matthew Savage and his wife Christa S. Savage, and two granddaughters Katherine Madison Savage and Claire Ruth Savage, all of Simpsonville. Also surviving are two brothers, James Edward Dodenhoff and wife Evelyn of Greenville; and Daniel David Dodenhoff and wife Carolyn of Laurens.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Thursday, November 1st at Mauldin First Baptist Church with Rev. Wade Leonard and Rev. Charles Bishop officiating. Interment will follow at Graceland East Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at The Mackey Mortuary, Wednesday October 31st from 6pm until.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to the McCall Hospice House and Open Arms Hospice in Sallie's name.
