Edward Holden Obituary
Easley
Funeral services to honor the life of Mr. Holden will be 3:00 PM Sunday at West End Baptist Church. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Edward William Holden, 88, of 204 South 8th Street, died Friday, May 17, 2013. Born in Cateechee, he was the widower of Floree Dodson Holden and a son of the late Paul and Lois Chapman Holden.
He was a US Army veteran of World War II and was a member of West End Baptist Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Joyce Simmons (Wade), and Judy Cassell (Bobby), and Ingrid Heinz (Karl); a son, Olin Holden (Rhonda); a sister, Ellen Melton; a brother, Gerald Holden (Hazel); 19 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a sister, Elizabeth Holden Robinson.
The family will be at 201 South 6th Street, Easley, SC.
