Pauline Murray Johnson, 84, of Powdersville, widow of Joseph Eugene (J.E.) Johnson, died Tuesday, April 2, 2013.
Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late James H. and Pearl Cartee Murray.
Mrs. Johnson formerly worked at J.E. Johnson Floor Sanding. She was a member of Carolina Heights Christian Fellowship where for many years she was a faithful servant without recognition.
She is survived by daughter, Carolyn J. Johnson (Paul); sons, Tony L. Johnson (Sandra) and Chris D. Johnson (Mary Ann); nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; brothers, James and R.C. Murray; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her loving husband of 64 years, she was preceded in death by son, Ronnie Johnson; sister, Louise Pittman; and great grandson, Hilton McDonald.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 5, 2013 from 12:30 p.m. until 2:15 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest with the funeral service following at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will follow in Graceland West Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Carolina Heights Christian Fellowship, 2900 Anderson Road, Greenville, SC 29611.

My condolences to the family. I foundly remember sister Johnson's sweet smile, I've known her all my life and everytime I have ever saw her I have been blessed by her smile and her kindness to me. What sweet memories I have reminiscing of West Greenville Church of God of Prophecy / Carolina Heights faithful saints of God.
