Loving husband, father, and granddaddy lost his battle with COPD Wednesday, April 3. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Elaine, his 3 children Mixon (Katherine) of Greer, Stephanie (Jeff) and Kandie of Spartanburg. 3 grandchildren Marlee and Rowan of Greer and Chloe Bella of Spartanburg.

Memorial Service to be held at Palmetto Mortuary 1313A Miller Rd. Greenville on Sunday April 7 @ 2pm Rev. Johnnie James will officiate. Arrangements by Cremation Society of SC.

Elaine,
I truly was shocked to hear of Rodney's passing. Don't know why I never heard about it before but I know it's hard for you but I'm praying for you and will keep you in my prayers in the days ahead. It doesn't seem possible you two could have been married 41 years but hopefully knowing you'll see him again and will be together then forever can bring you some comfort. It would be good to get together with you sometimes and share some childhood memories.
