Luther Ware Obituary
Greer
Final Services for Luther Ware, longtime owner and operator of Ware's Burger House in Greer, will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, June 11, 2013, at Cedar Grove Baptist Church, Greer; Viewing is from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. today (Monday), at the Brown Funeral Home - Greer.
He is survived by his mother, Lucille Mahoney Ware, and was predeceased by his father, Claude Ware. Survivors also Wilma Carson, of the home; daughters, Jacqueline Stevens and Tori Stevens; brothers, Rev. John Ware, Kenny Ware, and Ronald Ware; sisters, Barbara Drummond, Betty Ann Ware, and Mary Thompkins; other relatives and friends.

I am so sorry to hear about Wares passing. We had some good times at Palmetto. He was such a sweetheart and always had a smile on his face. Another good man gone to Heaven to become one of Gods great Angels. My prayers are with all of you.

I'm truly sorry to hear about Ware. He was one of a kind. I remember a lot of good things about him. Everyone and anyone that had the pleasure of knowing him knew a great person. Thanks Ware for being the high light of many years working with you at Twin Palmetto.

I was sorry to read of the passing of Mr. Ware. He was such a great man and a good cook. My husband and I used to eat at his place often and enjoyed talking with him and others who worked there. My sincere sympathy to the entire Ware family.
