Maurice Greene Obituary
Greer
Maurice Dillard Greene, 87, went to be with the Lord on April 21, 2013. She was a resident of the National Health Care, Boiling Springs Rd., Greer. She is survived by her son, Stan Coster; granddaughter, Kristen S. Coster, and daughter-in-law Donna Coster.
Born in Greenville County, she was the daughter of the late James Stanley Dillard and Mozelle Christopher Dillard, of Greer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don S. Greene; and sister, Martha Dillard Edwards. Mauriece, "Reicie," as she was called, was a business woman, loved cosmetics, and working with the public.
Reicie will be missed by her family and many friends at Snow Place Apartments in Greer. A special thanks to the staff at the National Health Care, the employees of Caris Health Care, and a special friend, Joan Songer.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m., Wednesday, April 24, 2013, in the Markley Chapel at Christ Church in Greenville. The family will receive friends following the service. Memorials should be given to Greer Community Ministries or Christ Episcopal Church.

I will miss her dearly. She always had a smile on her face no matter the time of day. May peace be with her family and friends.I didn't know her for a long time but within those three months she was very special to me. I'd bring her oranges and help her with her weekly menu. I love you....and she would encourage me everyday.

Dear Stan,
I am so saddened to hear of your mother's death. Please know that I am thinking about you and sending love. Maurice was a very special person to me at a very important time of my life. When I felt awkward and gangly as a young teen, she made me feel pretty, sat me down, and we experienced with those cosmetics you wrote about in the obituary. And she laughed and told funny jokes, so different from all the other mothers, aunts, etc. I loved her. I am smiling today thinking of her beaming smile and infectious laugh, and am sad that she is no longer in this world with us. Sending love, Susan
