Dear Frank,
I am so sorry to hear about Lila's passing. I remember so many things about her (and you). She was a wonderful cook, seamstress, artsy and organized. She was my Sunday School teacher at Easley First P.H. Church. She often baked cakes and brought to the classroom and drew a name to send the cake home to. She handmade Christmas stockings and other beautiful things for her students. She was an excellent pianist and also directed beautiful musicals for special occasions at our church. She was the "Apple of her mother's eye," and I know that she waited with anticipation to welcome her beloved daugher home. Our prayers are with you and Lin and the other membrs of the family.

I am so sorry for your loss of Lila. She was my Sunday School teacher at the old Easley PH Church across from the old EHS. I loved her so much! She made the lessons fun and kept us all in line. I also remember how happy she was when she married and later had her beloved son. Precious memories of a wonderful lady!
I am sorry she suffered illness, but she is rejoicing in Heaven today! My prayers are with your family.

Frank and Lin: I am so heartbroken to see that Miss Lila has passed. She was such a beautiful, sweet woman who was always so kind to others and always saw the good in everyone. She was everybody's other grandmother at MDI when I was there with her. I will remember you all in my prayers.
