J.B. Sims, Jr., 62, of 305 Roosevelt Avenue, passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at North Greenville Hospital. Born in Pickens County, he was the son of the late J.B. Sims, Sr. and Pearl Ligon Sims.
Survivors: wife, Ruth Sims; daughter, Jacilla B. Westfield of Easley; step-daughters, Sharon (Eric) Brunson of Irmo, Pamela (Walter) Jamison of Simpsonville, and Tammie (Sean) Jameson of Greenville; son, Christopher W. Sims of the home; sister, Edna Mae Sims of Seneca; brothers, Sylvester (Teresa) Sims of Central, Roger (Dorothy) Sims and Jimmy Ligon, both of Clemson; four grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Funeral Service: Sunday, 3:00 PM at Mtn. Grove Baptist Church with burial in Mtn. View Memorial Gardens. - Watkins, Garrett & Woods Mortuary
