Sara Wilkins Simkins, 84, widow of Johnny "Ringo" Simkins, passed away Saturday, February 20, 2016.

Born in Gaffney, SC, Sara was a daughter of the late Horace Bobo and Annie Helen Wilkins of Spartanburg, SC. She retired from Piedmont Industries and Beth Israel Synagogue in Greenville and was a member of Reedy River Baptist Church.

Surviving is her daughter, Darlene Arnette of Greenville; two sisters, Beth McCallum and Margaret Phillips of Inman, SC.

In addition to her husband, Sara was predeceased by five brothers, Fred, Jim, Johnny, Cecil and Bobby Wilkins.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, February 29, 2016 at The Howze Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow at Reedy River Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 3:00 PM Monday at The Howze Mortuary prior to the service.

Memorials may be made to, Reedy River Baptist Church Capital Campaign.
