Lou Tate George

Greenville

Lou Tate George, 82, of Greenville, died December 25, 2013.

Born in Demorest, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Fred R. and Fannie Palmer Tate.

Ms. George was a member of Reedy River Baptist Church. She was a loving mother who enjoyed spending time with her family, sitting with her precious cat QZ and watching TV.

She is survived by son, Michael T. George of Greenville, SC; four grandchildren, Matthew, Ashley, Kelly, and Mackenzie; two great grandchildren, Travis and Thomas; sister, Sandy Warren and husband Joe of Greenville, SC; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son, Johnny George.

Visitation will be held Saturday, December 28, 2013 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:15 p.m. at Reedy River Baptist Church with the funeral service following at 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
