Peggy Rollins Obituary
Taylors
Peggy Carter Rollins, 72, of Taylors, wife of Jerry Rollins, died Tuesday, May 7, 2013.
Born in Oconee County, she was the daughter of the late Clifton and Ollie Lee Carter.
Mrs. Rollins was retired from Hayes Food Products as an office manager and a member of Mountain Creek Baptist Church. She was pianist and Sunday School teacher at Rutherford Road Baptist Church for over 20 years.
Surviving, in addition to her husband of 54 years, are two children, Ken Rollins and wife Tammy, of Greenville and Pam Scott and husband Randy, of Snellville, GA; five grandchildren, Carter and Dwayne Rollins and Charlie, Katie and Anna Scott; three sisters, Elma Suttles and Ruth Bond, both of Seneca, and Mabel Grant and husband Buddy, of Walhalla. She was predeceased by six siblings.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 10, 2013 from 1:00 to 2:15 p.m. at Mountain Creek Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
Memorials may be made to Mountain Creek Baptist Church, Nicaragua Missions, 255 W. Mountain Creek Church Rd., Greenville, SC 29609.

Jerry, Kenny and Pam. We are so deeply saddened of Peggy's death. There are so many things that could be said but to us she was a perfect example of a Godly woman, and always a smile on her face. AND, she NEVER aged!! We often laughed about that. I've never met a more humbled, sweet lady as she. We are praying for you all. May God bring you comfort during the days and months ahead.

Jerry, Kenny and Pam I am so sorry to hear of Peggy's passing. She was a sweet person. We all had great times when we lived on North Acres Drive and when we would all go on vacations together. And during the summers she would take us all to Vacation Bible School. I will always remember thoses times. She was a sweet lady and will be deeply missed.
