Taylors
Robert "Bob" Freeman Casey, Jr., of Taylors, husband of Edith Williamson Casey, died Wednesday, April 10, 2013.
Born in Danville, VA, he was the son of the late Robert Freeman Casey, Sr. and Mildred Lawhorne Casey.
Mr. Casey served in the US Army and was retired from PYA Monarch where he was a sales representative. He was a member of Lutheran Church of Our Saviour. He was an avid Gamecock fan, golfer, and enjoyed spending time at Edisto Beach. He was also Past Master of Taylors Masonic Lodge.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two children, Robert "Bobby" William Casey, Sr. of Taylors and Vicki Marie Casey-Poole and husband Thomas David Poole of Greenville; three grandchildren, Robert "Bobby" William Casey, Jr., Williamson Taylor Poole, and Elisabeth Rae Casey; a brother, Stephen P. Casey of Charlotte, NC and a sister, Cathy J. Darby of Columbia. He was predeceased by a brother, Roderick L. Casey.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 12, 2013 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. The funeral service will be held Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Lutheran Church of Our Saviour. Burial will be in St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery in Pomaria, SC at 4 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul Restoration Fund, First Community Bank, P O Box 417, Newberry, SC 29108.

Edie, Bobby, Vicki and all the kids. My prayers are with all of you as you remember all the amazing times you had with Bob. I know he will be missed. You can always tell the impact a person makes on others when you see the type admiration you all had for Bob. He leaves behind a legacy that you should be proud of.
I pray God will comfort you as only He can in this time of remembrance.
Just know that his life is noe complete and he is healed.
