Rufus Tooley Obituary
Taylors
Rufus George Tooley, Sr., 86, died April 8, 2013.
Born in Greenville, he was the son of the late J. H. and Atta Mae Black Tooley.
Rufus was a US Army Veteran, retired from City Body Shop and a member of Edgewood Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Jones Tooley; a son, Henry Tooley, an infant daughter, Peggy Tooley; and his brother, Herman Tooley.
Surviving are his son, Rufus "Steve" G. Tooley, Jr., a granddaughter, Lynn Tooley and two sisters, Jean Bryant and Joyce Waldrop.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at 2:00pm at Edgewood Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends prior to the service at the graveside.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cancer Society of Greenville County, 113 Mills Avenue, Greenville, SC 29605.

May God Bless you and the family during this time.I am so sorry to hear about Uncle Rufus. He was indeed a wonderful man.I will not ever forget seeing Uncle Rufus on the mower cutting grass with a mask on.
