It´s difficult to imagine another turkey season without John. We shared some great adventures together and I am saddened to say that it´s tougher than I imagined it would be to hunt and fish without you.

I have known John and Marsha since 1993. I always found him true to his word. We enjoyed the greatest day of fishing I ever had on a late January day near the Isle of Palms almost ten years ago. I will never forget how exhausted and satisfied he was at the end of that memorable day.

I worked with John for the last couple of years. He was a gentle, kind, and caring guy. I'll always remember his easy-going spirit and love of turkey hunting.

John was one of my best friends from high school. We moved to Florida, lived together for a time and remained friends for life. Words can't describe the loss or my feelings about him. He will be missed. Peace be with him.

I was hired by John & Spiezle, last August. I liked & cared about him very much. He has always been thoughtful and encouraging to me. He told me how much he appreciated my skills. We've both talked about how important our spouses, children & extended families are to us. I will miss him.

John will be missed at our office. He took a genuine interest in all of us and our families. He was so encouraging to those of us privileged to know him. I will miss sharing time at the coffee pot each morning with John.

John was a friend. For twenty years, we hunted turkey, dove, deer, and ducks; we served on the SC Board of Architectural Examiners as well as NCARB committees and 'lived large'; but most importantly, we were friends. I will miss John's turkey reports as much as the serious discussions we shared. John will be missed.

I had the pleasure of working with John for the last two years. He was a very kind caring person who was passionate about his field of expertise. He will be sorely missed.
